Following his brother’s accidental on-site death, desperate for justice in the face of establishment abuses, labourer Francisco finally takes the law into his own hands.
Born in 1989 in Mexico City, he produced with Lucia Films several Mexican films such as Gabriel Ripstein’s 600 Miles, presented at the Beaune Film Festival in 2015, and Michel Franco’s Chronic (Best Screenplay, 2015 Cannes Film Festival), and April’s Daughter (Jury Prize at Un Certain Regard, 2017 Cannes Film Festival). His short films Princess (2014), Dim Blood (2016), and Brother (2017) have screened at numerous film festivals worldwide. “Variety” named him as one of the upcoming talents of Mexican cinema.
